"Built-in speakers" covers two quite different products. Some desks integrate drivers into the desktop or its channel. Others offer a mounted audio option — real speakers attached to the desk rather than concealed within it.
Both are legitimate; they occupy different amounts of desktop and cost differently. What is usually missing from a product page is the specification: how many drivers, at what power, over which Bluetooth codec, and whether anything can be plugged in.
Codec matters more than a loudness figure. SBC and AAC determine what an iPhone or an Android phone will actually negotiate.

"Not documented" means the capability was not stated in the manufacturer materials we reviewed — not that the product lacks it.
A Bluetooth adapter is not a speaker
Both UPLIFT and Branch sell a $19 Bluetooth adapter, and neither has anything to do with audio. Those adapters connect the desk to a phone app for control — presets, reminders, scheduling.
This is an easy misread when scanning specification lists, because "Bluetooth" appears in the same column position it would occupy on a speaker-equipped desk.
Integrated versus mounted
The LIVTAB CyberOne Pro's speakers lift up from the desktop and retract when idle, which keeps the surface clear. The Xdesk Harman Kardon option is a mounted subwoofer with separate satellites — more speaker, more desktop occupied, and documented with a 3.5 mm input.
Versoflip One's approach is two downward-firing drivers in the rear cable channel: nothing on the desktop and nothing that moves, at the cost of being the least capable of the three as an audio system. It is designed for calls and background listening rather than as a monitor replacement.
What we could not confirm
The Xdesk option carries older NextDesk branding, and current model compatibility, option price and availability were not confirmed. LIVTAB's page did not state a Bluetooth version or a wired input on the material we reviewed; absence there is a documentation gap, not evidence of absence.
How this table was built
Every affirmative cell comes from the manufacturer's own product or support documentation, linked in the Sources section. We have not tested any of these desks, and no cell reflects hands-on use.
"Not documented" means we did not find the capability stated in the materials we reviewed. It is not a finding that the product lacks it. Manufacturers do not document every behaviour, and configurations differ — a controller option or an adapter can change the answer. Confirm with the manufacturer before buying on the strength of one cell.
