Versoflip One uses a small set of commands mapped to the current user's saved positions. The desk confirms the chosen destination and allows cancellation. A physical stop and ordinary height buttons remain close at hand.
If two people share the desk, the active profile must be clear before a voice request selects a height. “Standing” should refer to the height saved for that profile, not the last position used by somebody else. Changing the profile should not itself start a movement.
Voice works through an Amazon Alexa skill, a Google Assistant action or Siri Shortcuts through the iOS app — Siri Shortcuts run over Bluetooth, without a cloud round trip.
Separate built-in voice control from an integration
A desk with its own microphone and recognition system is different from a desk controlled through a separate speaker, phone or assistant. The second arrangement may introduce accounts, internet access or compatibility requirements that are easy to miss in a headline.
