How Versoflip One handles it
Versoflip One's load-aware system checks for excessive or uneven loading before a requested move. If it flags a problem, the desk holds position and asks you to redistribute or remove items, then retries deliberately.
Add a heavy piece of equipment at one end of the desktop and the warning appears before movement — instead of leaving you to interpret a struggling motor.
Three claims to keep separate
A rated load tells you the manufacturer's stated operating limit under specified conditions. Overload detection is intended to identify an excessive load and respond to it. Uneven-load sensing aims to identify an imbalance across the desktop or supports.
Anti-collision behavior is another separate mechanism. Detecting contact while moving does not necessarily measure the weight already on the desk, and sensing weight does not guarantee that every obstruction will be detected.
Controls and details to make clear
Swipe or scroll to compare all columns →
| Claim | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Maximum supported load | A documented rating, test conditions and whether desktop weight is included. |
| Overload response | What is detected, whether movement is blocked, and how the warning is cleared. |
| Uneven-load sensing | Which loading patterns were tested and which cannot be reliably identified. |
| Measurement limits | Sensitivity, tolerances and known false-positive or missed-detection cases. |
| Manual and stop behavior | How the desk remains controllable after a warning. |
The word “load-aware” should not replace those details. No desk should be loaded beyond its documented rating simply because a detection feature is advertised.
Load sensing specification
Swipe or scroll to compare all columns →
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Sensors | Four strain-gauge load cells, two in each desktop pivot hub |
| Design load | 120 kg distributed across the desktop |
| Reported resolution | 0.5 kg, shown on the keypad and in the app |
| Imbalance threshold | A 15% front-to-rear or left-to-right difference raises a warning |
| Overload behaviour | Travel is blocked above the design load, with the reason displayed |
| Related protection | Current-spike collision detection stops travel and reverses 20 mm |
Four load cells make the difference between a rating printed in a manual and a reading the desk can act on. Distribution is the part a single number hides: two monitors on one side of a desktop within its total limit still load one column more than the other. Overload and imbalance states are stated on the display rather than expressed as a refusal to move.

Common questions
Is load sensing the same as anti-collision?
No. Load sensing concerns the weight or distribution already supported; anti-collision concerns detecting an obstruction during movement. Their behavior must be documented separately.
What is Versoflip One’s maximum load?
The design load is 120 kg distributed across the desktop, measured by four strain-gauge load cells reporting to 0.5 kg. Travel is blocked above the limit with the reason shown.
